Fudochi Shimmyo Roku is a collection of letters between Zen Master Takuan Zenji and master swordsman Yagyu Tajima Munenori, who lived during the 1600's.
Munenori sought the knowledge of zen masters to help him become a better swordsman. The advice from Takuan is as relevant to a swordsman of 1600 as it is to a businessman living today.
